Azkar — Du'a for the year ahead
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى
Allahumma inni as'alukal-huda wat-tuqa wal-'afafa wal-ghina.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency.
Benefits
This comprehensive du'a — related to this week's theme of Azkar — Du'a for the year ahead — covers four of the most essential gifts: guidance (huda) to the right path, taqwa (God-consciousness) to stay on it, 'afaf (chastity and restraint) from what harms you, and ghina (self-sufficiency) from depending on others for what Allah can provide.
